Arso Ivanovic was a contemporary visual artist whose work blended tradition, imagination, and technical innovation. Born in the former Yugoslavia, he studied at the Academy of Fine Arts in Sarajevo before moving to the United States in 1967. Known for his distinctive “frozen” pigment technique, he created symbolic, dreamlike compositions rich in texture and emotion.
